Consumer Product Testing Centre Review
CONSUMER PRODUCT TESTING CENTRE
Consumer Product Testing Centre is the organization that conducts taste tests and product development studies for the Food Processing Development Division of Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development. Its goal is to know what products will be accepted by the market and how they will receive it. CPTC handles product tests for snack items, meat products, meals, sports drinks, energy bars, and chocolates, among others.
The research panel accepts interested study participants who are at least 18 years old. To qualify, participants must no have any allergies and dietary restrictions. Respondents are being chosen depending on the study requirements, and they are not allowed to eat or smoke 30 minutes before the test for it may interfere with the product taste. Study participants take these surveys for cash, receiving a minimum of $15 incentive. A questionnaire will be given for the respondent to complete for the evaluation of the product being tested.
Registration is available for interested participants. Most of the studies are being held in the CPTC facility in Alberta, therefore residents within the area are most preferred to join the panel.
